                  Donations Distributed in May - July 2025
Donations delivered to the following Community Partners:
Homeless Coalition St. Johns: new toddler bed & mattress; 5 kids new comforter/sheet sets for twin beds; men's clothing
Pie in the Sky Community Alliance: 36 portable electric fans for homebound elderly with little to no air conditioning. We will continue to accept fans for delivery to Pie in the Sky. Please contact [email protected] or leave a message at 904-507-7740 if you would like to donate.
Betty Griffin Crisis Center: backpacks full of school supplies for 20 children.
SEA Community in Elkton: school supplies
Florida School for the Deaf & the Blind: car load of snacks & hygiene items for students from economically challenged households. Many of these children are bussed to the St. Augustine campus on Sundays & back home on Fridays from all over the state. Hopefully the snacks will help make the long rides more bearable.
St. Augustine High School (SAHS) "Hub": carload of snacks & hygiene products to start the new academic year. This is our Project School Snack Pantry 3rd year at SAHS, providing snacks and hygiene items on a monthly basis. Congratulations to the staff & students at SAHS in improving the academic rankings from a "C" school to an "A" school over the past two years. We are glad to be able to play a part in this accomplishment.

Scholarships
In May our Board of Directors awarded a homeless graduating High School student with a scholarship towards her college educational expenses. $500 each year for up to 4 years will be issued to this student's school account to help with costs and needs. This now brings our current total of students with a SJC yearly scholarships to five. 
Volunteer Opportunities
Community Hospice & Palliative Care: Volunteers needed to visit some of their clients, whether sharing a book, a story, or simply spending time together. Help make a difference in someone's life. Please go to Volunteer.CommunityHospice.com or call 904-407-7064 for more information.
St. Augustine High School: Volunteers needed the 1st & 3rd Fridays from 11am-1:30pm to help with the "Hub" Snack & Hygiene Pantry. Go to SignUpGenius: enter [email protected] & select Jacket Hub Fridays to select date(s).
St. Augustine Humane Society: volunteers needed. Also providing veterinary technician training. Check on information at www.staughumane.org.  
St. Johns Housing Partnership will hold their Annual "Make A Difference Day" on Saturday, October 25th. This will once again be a county-wide initiative for volunteers for exterior painting of houses, home repairs, landscaping, yard clean up & to help build wheelchair ramps for veterans, the elderly or disabled.
