​FAMILIES, WOMEN AND CHILDREN 
Alpha Omega Miracle Home (St. Augustine)
Provides safe place for homeless women to live while putting their lives in order. Many are homeless due to abusive relationships. An older woman and a younger woman with children share an apartment as they learn coping and life skills. Theme: giving a hand up, not a hand out. During Giving Tree: clothing, toys, small household appliances, gift cards
ASSIST Program St. Johns County School District (all schools)
ASSIST staff work with homeless families and students living without families/guardians. 2021-2022 there were approximately 850 homeless students. Every school has one or more homeless students. During Giving Tree: gift cards for use throughout the year  During Backpacks for Homeless HS Seniors Enrolling in Higher Education Initiative: new backpack with insulated water bottle, academic planner and gift card to each qualifying graduate; scholarship(s) awarded to one or more students completing a St Johns CARES application and enrolled in higher education
Betty Griffin Crisis Center (St. Augustine)
Women and their children seeking shelter from abusive situations as they work towards improving their futures. Giving Tree: clothing, toys, personal hygiene items
Big Brothers/Big Sisters (St. Augustine)

Boys & Girls Club (St. Augustine)

Camp I Am Special (Fruit Cove)
Provides an adaptive and recreational camp experience for children, teenagers and adults with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities. Giving Tree: office and housekeeping items, games, toys and recreational items
Career Navigators at First Coast Technical College (St. Augustine)
Program for ages 16 to 24 to obtain high school diploma, explore and train for career opportunities. Many of the students have economic issues. Giving Tree: gasoline gift cards
Community PedsCare
Children with complex, chronic, life-limiting or advance illness. Giving Tree: toys, games, art supplies, gift cards for family dining
Dreams Come True (Jacksonville)
Children with life-threatening illnesses. Giving Tree: toys, games, art supplies, sports equipment
Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (St. Augustine)
1,000 students receive education and life skills training. Students come from every area of Florida and are bussed in on Mondays and back home on Fridays. Transportation, education, food and housing are paid by the State. 50-75 students do not have funds to pay for clothing, personal hygiene items, school supplies and snacks for weekly travel. Homeless Coalition St. Johns County (St. Augustine)
Provides safe housing for families, helps parents learn skills to give their families positive futures and break the cycle of poverty. Giving Tree: clothing, toys, games, sports equipment, small appliances and household needs
Hope4Veterans (St. Augustine)
Support organization for female veterans and their children. Giving Tree: clothing, toys, games, sports equipment, gift cards
INK: Investing in Kids (all schools)

Kids Bridge (St. Augustine)
Supervised family visitation center and counseling. Giving Tree: toys, games, art supplies, sports equipment
Life Services (St. Augustine)
Free, supportive counseling and services to women and men facing unwanted pregnancies. Includes ultrasound imaging, family counseling, baby clothing and diapers. Giving Tree: clothing, feeding and childcare items for infants
SEA Community Help Center (Armstrong/Elkton/Spuds)
Help individuals and families challenged by homelessness, sub-standard housing and hunger. Giving Tree: non-perishable food, clothing, toys, games, sports equipment
Shepherd’s Haven (Hastings)
Help individuals and families challenged by homelessness, sub-standard housing and hunger. Giving Tree: non-perishable food, clothing, toys, games, sports equipment
St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) (St. Augustine)
Provides at-risk youth coaching, counseling and care in family style therapeutic group homes for boys and outpatient community services. Giving Tree: toys, games, sports equipment, clothing, suitcases/duffle bags
St. Gerard Campus (St. Augustine)
On-campus safe haven for pregnant mothers shunned from family and seeking support; provides education, onsite daycare center and pregnancy resource center. Giving Tree: mother and infant clothing, infant supplies, personal hygiene supplies
HOMELESS, ABUSED, EMOTIONAL NEEDS
Cenacle Communities (St. Augustine)
Females and males reside in separate campuses as they go through intensive counseling for drug recovery. Giving Tree: clothing
EPIC Behavioral Healthcare
Healthcare for children, adolescents, adults and elderly with substance abuse and mental health issues. Giving Tree: books, office supplies, gift cards
Home Again St. Johns (St. Augustine)
Homeless adults living in their cars or in the woods have a place to receive lunch, shower, wash clothes, receive mail, mobile healthcare, counseling. Many are employed but cannot afford rent. Giving Tree: clothing, personal hygiene items, non-perishable food, tents, sleeping bags, blankets
Port in the Storm (St. Francis House program) (St. Augustine)
16-bed night shelter for homeless young adults 18-24 years of age; provides life skills training, counseling, basic needs, job skills and housing assistance for homeless young adults. Giving Tree: clothing, personal hygiene items, nonperishable food
St. Francis House (St. Augustine)
Emergency food and shelter for homeless men and women, counseling, referral services and eyeglasses. Giving Tree: clothing, nonperishable food, personal hygiene items, tents, sleeping bags, blankets 
ELDERLY
Council on Aging (St. Augustine, Hastings, Trout Creek)
Activities for elderly citizens, food and nutrition programs including Meals on Wheels, counseling. Giving Tree: nonperishable food, activity items, gift cards
Pie in the Sky Community Alliance (St. Augustine)
Provides fresh produce and canned goods, personal care items and a friendly delivery volunteer face for the Elderly unable to get out in the Community. Giving Tree: nonperishable food, personal hygiene items, blankets, pet food and items

St. Augustine Humane Society (St. Augustine)
Provides Veterinarian services so those economically challenged do not have to put their pet in a shelter. Giving Tree: pet food, old towels, heating blankets for patients after surgery, doggie pet pads for use during surgery
St. Augustine Wild Reserve (St. Augustine)
Home for unwanted and abused exotic animals. Giving Tree: nuts, bubble bath (for use with tigers), mealy worms and other requested items 
Swamp Haven Rescue (St. Augustine)
